Bartender Resume Tips - Basic Guidelines For Bartender Applicants
When applying for a job as a bartender, your resume will be a powerful tool that can either help you or hurt you. Bartending jobs can provide you with an income which is considerable to pay off the bills and have an extra money for your recreations and other expenses. Plus, there is nothing more exciting than getting paid to pour those drinks and be the life of the party!
When you are applying for a job as a bartender, you should consider some guidelines to help you stand out from the competition:
Look Professional! Dress up!
When going for an interview or applying for a job, your dress really does matter. Make sure you are wearing nice clothes. For men, the long-sleeved collared shirt and some slacks is great. Just make sure that you have ironed your attire so there are no wrinkles. Also, there is such thing as over dressing, so be wary of that. You also have to wipe out all the jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, etc-they don't need it. Most employers will look what you can do just by judging how you dressed. (1st impressions!!) Present yourself in a organized, neat and professional manner, and you've got a leg up on the competition.
Punctual
To be early is to be on time. To be on time is to be late. To be late is unacceptable. Make this your motto and arrive early for your interview. It will affect how your bar manager evaluates you.
Courteous
With that 1st impression, be courteous! Always give a warmp introduction(greeting) to the employer with a firm handshake and a big smile.
Answer Straight
When in an interview, no matter what questions you may get, be attentive and try to answer straightforward. Never use faulty words like saying "hhmmm..". If you don't know or understand the question, just let them know.
Always follow the Rules
Don't ignore any rules that are posted on the job hiring announcement. When they give rules about the format or style of your resume, the basic materials to bring, what to wear, etc.,don't reinvent and make your own.
Be an Empty Cup
Most bartenders with great talentsfrom their previous jobs are hard to train in their new job because they think they know a lot. This just makes the bar manager's job harder. Whatever you knew or have, always be an empty cup to learn more. Tell employers that you are willing to be trained and learn.
Don't afraid to ask
You can ask them what you don't understand. They will more appreciate you do it, it means you are willing to learn. You can also ask them a about the salary, the time schedule and etc.
Be Prepared
Prepare yourself for a test where your abilities and knowledge about bartending maybe tested. Hint:Some employers will ask you the basic equipments that a bartender should have.
Those are just a few things that a bar or restaurant manager will be looking for when hiring you.

Some Bartending Tips and Techniques to Get You Through
From a patrons point of view, bartending does not seem like a hard job. After all, a bartenders job is at the centre of a party every night, they get to see great live bands, meet people from all over the world and pour and mix drinks for these people. Actually, to most people, bartending seems like a fun, relaxed job and that is why so many young people become bartenders while in university.
When you are the one mixing the drinks, you realize quickly that the job is not always fun, you can't enjoy the party, you are always rushed, you have to deal with people who have had a little too much to drink and the pay is usually lousy. That being said, there are things you can do to make your job easier and more enjoyable.
Here are some bartending tips and techniques to help get you through another night at the club:
1) Make sure you are well-rested and ready to deal with your customers.
2) Have ice, garnishes and dishes ready before the bulk of your customers come in through the door.
3) Take courses. There are bartending courses available in every town and city and usually they are just a couple of classes once a week. There are workshops available to in some places and these range from a few hours to a few days. It doesn't hurt to mention it to your employer and he or she thinks it will help you on the job and therefore help the business, they may even foot the bill.
4) Smile! Your customers will make your night easier to deal with if you open up to them and be friendly. Chat with them about what is going on their lives but don't ignore other customers who may be waiting in line for drinks.
Bartending is known to be a difficult job at times but it can be fun too and if you go in with the right attitude, you will meet a lot of great people, make some fun memories and most importantly, you will love your job!
Bartending can be a great way to make money and for the right person, it can be a rewarding and fulfilling career. Check Out http://rapid-bartender-review.com and Don't pay for an overpriced bartending school, until you've read it.

Swingers Lifestyle Tips for Beginners
First Step
There are a lot of couples today who are looking for something a little more sexually adventurous and thinking of trying something new to add some excitement to their relationship. Swinging is a great way to do this but there are a couple of caveats to be aware. The most important thing is to make sure both of you are secure in your relationship and then lay down the rules you are both comfortable with before you start. If you can do just these two things then you will have a great time in the lifestyle without ever hurting your partner's feelings. Remember, communication is the cornerstone to any good relationship and the same goes for swinging.
Swingers Websites
The easiest way to get started meeting other swingers is via the internet. There are many websites out there that promote swingers dating, but very few that are actually any good. You need to choose a site that has been around for several years and has good customer support to help you with any issues that may arise. The best swingers sites will also have plenty of pictures, videos and very few fake profiles. There are free swingers sites out there but for the most part they are full of fakes and they will be a big waste of your time. In the arena of swingers websites you definitely get what you pay for. The most important thing is to be honest when setting up your online profile and only use current and clear pictures of yourself. Since privacy is an important issue it is ok to either use photos that don't show your face or use photo editing software to remove your face. The worst thing you can do is lie about your age, weight or any other factors that will eventually be exposed when you meet up with other couples. The best rule of thumb is to always be honest.
Swingers Clubs
The next best way to get started is to go out to one of the local swingers clubs in your city. This can be a little intimidating at first but just be yourself and initiate conversation with a few people and before you know it you'll be making new friends. You will find that swingers are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. In fact some of the people you already know are probably in the lifestyle, so be prepared if you see them in the club. Most swingers clubs are BYOB so make sure you bring a bottle of your favorite alcohol and drop it off either at the entrance or with the bartender depending on the club rules. Once you meet another couple or single you like you have two options, you can either go into the onsite playrooms or leave and go to a hotel or your house. Both of these are good options and you'll figure out which one works best for you.
Private Parties
Once you have been active in the lifestyle for a little while you will probably start receiving invitations to private house parties. These types of parties are great because it is a more relaxed setting and it is generally a more comfortable environment than a club. These types of swingers parties operate like any other normal party with one exception; if you find another couple you are attracted to you can head off to one of the bedrooms and have sex. You can also find private parties listed in Craigslist or other social networking sites such as yahoo groups.
Types of Swingers
Now that you know how to meet other swingers you need to know the different types of swingers. The soft swing is generally the best way to get started. The same room soft swing is when two couples are intimate in the same room with their own partner. Girl on girl only is when the girls get together and play while the guys either sit on the sideline or play with their own partner at the same time. The soft wife swap is when couples switch partners mainly for oral stimulation and then go back to their partner for the intimacy of sex. These types of swingers make up a large part of those in the lifestyle and the soft swing is a great way to get started. The more advanced swingers usually go for the full swap where partners are exchanged for intercourse.
No matter how you decide to get started swinging don't be afraid to ask more experienced swingers for advice. The swinging lifestyle is certainly not for everyone, but it can be very fulfilling and provide a lifetime of fun for you and your spouse.
