hey man, you are doing a great job here with the videos. Your explanations are very solid and very easy to follow, you also a good speaker. One thing that I noticed was that you do not skip steps, obviously the stuff is easy for you, however, you remember to teach it baby steps with out leaving any single details behinds. Excellent work. Keep it up. Anyways, your videos make my learning process quicker, hope to see more from you. thanks.

Thanks for the note. I didn’t realize the webcam I was using had such a lagtime to it, leaving trails and making anything fast difficult to see. I’m using better equipment now that should solve that problem. Thanks for the head’s up.

I been teaching myself a little over the years, but started doing it real serious for 3/4 of a year now, flaring in a student bar. I can do the tricks up to 5 at least, plus some ekstra… (throwing and catching ice, spinning filled tins) – but such a small thing as this flip, that i have seen in routines but could really tell what was going on, I can pick up here!! I decided to watch all your videos! Thx for offering this for free man!Too sad I am the farthest away from ambi-dex you can get!

Be sure to practice each hand independently. Practice just the right hand. Practice just the left. Then the right again. Then put ‘em together. And when it doesn’t work, keep practicing til it does.

Nice videos mate. Quick question though, do all of your bartending lessons consist of full bottle working flair or are some only for when little liquid is left in the bottle?
I keep getting spills when doing this swipe thru circle with full bottle.

You might have to swing your bottle slightly harder, the idea works off of physics, you want to get enough swing in it so that the liquid is pushed into the bottom of the bottle

I can do it, but my main problem is that i keep spilling when I rotate the bottle in the initial part of the move. Is that something you just practice till you control the flow or does it just inevitably happen?

@gooser562 Great question, this happens to a lot of people. 99% of the time it’s because they’re spinning the bottle in the first part of the move. It’s really more of a light toss – your hand should leave the bottle – and then grab the bottle with the changed grip. Be sure to make the whole motion as circular as possible.

Well, i gota say. Hi and thanks fore hand, great clips. Ive been bartending for the last 6yrs and ive learned 2 or 3 tricks, but it never was that important to me to learn them, as much as making good drinks. But now im so into it, and gota say that this clips have helped alot. Thanks again and keep it up. Cheers, salud
